The Hertfordshire-based firm carried out plumbing, heat and air-conditioning installation work. The company was incorporated in July 2012 under the name MD Plumbing & Heating Installations Limited and changed its name to D Mech Installations Ltd in February 2015.
The resolution
A general meeting was convened and held on 8 June 2026 at 109 Snakes Lane, Woodford Green, Essex. Members passed a special resolution to wind the company up voluntarily, followed by an ordinary resolution appointing Iqbal as liquidator. Nadeem Butt, the company's current director, chaired the meeting.
A creditors' voluntary liquidation is an insolvent winding-up resolved by the company's members at the request of its directors, without a court order. It is the most common route into formal insolvency for UK limited companies.
The liquidator appointment
Zain Iqbal, whose IP number is 25034, is based at Cooper Young, Hunter House, 109 Snakes Lane West, Woodford Green, Essex. The officers
Butt was appointed as a director on 28 August 2025 and remains in post. Michael Lee Dover served as a director from the company's incorporation on 16 July 2012 until 28 August 2025, when he resigned. Dover's departure and Butt's appointment fell on the same date, pointing to a straightforward change of control ahead of the winding-up.
The company's last accounts were made up to 31 July 2025 and filed on a micro-entity basis, meaning the company was small by statutory measure at that point.
